FARMERS’ RESPONSES TO THE SUSTAINABLE FOOD YARID PROGRAM (P2L) IN THE MELATI WOMEN FARMER GROUP, BENGBULANG VILLAGE KARANGPUCUNG DISTRICT CILACAP REGENCY

Abstract

The Pekarangan Pangan Lestari (P2L) program has been rolled out for 3 years, buat the program is still considered relatively new by the community. Sustainable food yard program (P2L) in the Melati Woman Farmer Group. The purposes of this study was to find out 1) Farmers response to the P2L program. 2) Obstracles faced by farmers in the P2L program. This type of research used descriptive qualitative with case study method in Bengbulang village, Karangpucung district, Cilacap regency. Data analysis used in this study used interval classes. The data obtained comes from primary and secondary data. The result of this study show that the farmers response to the knowledge aspect obtained a value of 20,00 in the high category for the farmers response was in the high attitude  aspect with a score of 12,00 while for the skill asoect the farmers response was in the high category with a value of 11,00.
