PERAN ORANG TUA DALAM KEBUTUHAN CINTA NOVEL NARASI PERIHAL AYAH RELEVANSI PEMBELAJARAN APRESIASI SASTRA

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan peran orang tua dalam pemenuhan kebutuhan cinta tokoh anak dalam novel Narasi Perihal Ayah karya Jaquenza Eden serta menilai kelayakannya sebagai bahan ajar apresiasi sastra di SMA. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan psikologi sastra berdasarkan teori psikologi humanistik Abraham Maslow, khususnya pada pemenuhan kebutuhan cinta konsep Being Love (B-Love) dan Deficiency Love (D-Love). Data penelitian berupa kutipan narasi dan dialog yang dianalisis secara tematik dan interpretatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran orang tua diwujudkan melalui dukungan emosional, keteladanan, dan bimbingan moral sebagai bentuk B-Love, serta pengalaman kehilangan dan keterbatasan ekonomi sebagai bentuk D-Love. Novel ini dinilai layak sebagai bahan ajar karena relevan dengan perkembangan psikologis remaja, menggunakan bahasa komunikatif, dan merepresentasikan realitas sosial secara kontekstual.Kata Kunci: Peran orang tua; Kebutuhan cinta; Psikologi humanistik; Apresiasi sastra; Bahan ajar SMA. AbstractThis study aims to describe the role of parents in fulfilling the love needs of child characters in the novel Narasi Perihal Ayah by Jaquenza Eden and assess its suitability as a teaching material for literary appreciation in high school. The method used is descriptive qualitative with a literary psychology approach based on Abraham Maslow's humanistic psychology theory, especially on fulfilling the love needs of the concepts of Being Love (B-Love) and Deficiency Love (D-Love). The research data are in the form of narrative excerpts and dialogues that are analyzed thematically and interpretatively. The results show that the role of parents is manifested through emotional support, role models, and moral guidance as forms of B-Love, as well as experiences of loss and economic limitations as forms of D-Love. This novel is considered suitable as a teaching material because it is relevant to the psychological development of adolescents, uses communicative language, and represents social reality contextually.Keywords: The role of parents; The need for love; Humanistic psychology; Literary appreciation; High school teaching materials.
