PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN TENTANG PENCEGAHAN ANEMIA MELALUI KOMBINASI METODE CERAMAH DAN LEAFLET PADA REMAJA PUTRI DI SMAN 3 ATAMBUA

Abstract


Anemia pada remaja putri masih cukup tinggi di Indonesia. Perubahan fisiologis pada masa pubertas serta pola makan yang salah menempatkan remaja putri sebagai kelompok yang rentan mengalami anemia. Salah satu upaya untuk menekan permasalahan anemia pada remaja adalah perubahan perilaku yang dimulai dengan adanya pemahaman yang adekuat terkait anemia dan pencegahan maupun penanganannya. Kegiatan edukasi kesehatan melalui kombinasi metode ceramah dan penggunaan leaflet masih menjadi salah satu solusi untuk mencegah dan menanggulangi masalah anemia pada anemia pada remaja. Edukasi kesehatan dilakukan pada 27 orang remaja Putri di SMAN 3 Atambua, pada tanggal 9 September 2021. Kegiatan terdiri atas 4 tahap yaitu: (1) pembukaan, (2) pengisian kuesioner pre-test, (3) penyampaian materi, (4) pengisian kuesioner post-test, (5) penutup. Hasil uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test menunjukkan p value sebesar 0,024 (<0,05) artinya terdapat perbedaan pengetahuan yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi kesehatan. Hal ini berarti edukasi kesehatan dengan kombinasi metode ceramah dan leaflet terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang pencegahan dan penanggulangan anemia pada remaja putri di SMAN 3 Atambua. Diperlukan intervensi berkelanjutan untuk mengaktifkan kembali fungsi Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) di SMAN 3 Atambua, sehingga dapat mengakomodir kebutuhan siswi khususnya yang berkaitan dengan masalah kesehatan.
