EFFECTIVENESS OF NITRALITE FERTILIZER ON PADDY FIELD IN LOW LAND IN KARAWANG REGENCY, WEST JAVA

Abstract


Nitralite fertilizer is a fertilizer containing 25% Nitrogen (N), 9% Ca and 6% S made by PT. Indonesian fertilizer. Nitralite fertilizer is made to replace the role of Urea fertilizer if the subsidy on the fertilizer is removed. The purpose of the study was to test the effectiveness of Nitralite fertilizer on lowland rice plants. The study was conducted from April 2020 to July 2020 in Tambaksari Village, Tirtajaya District, Karawang Regency, West Java. The study was carried out using a Randomized Block Design (RAK) with 8 treatments and 4 replications. The treatments tested consisted of 1) control without fertilizer (-NPK), 2) Nitralite 0 kg/ha + Urea 100 kg/ha + NPK 300 kg/ha, 3) Nitralite 360 kg/ha + SP-36 125 kg/ha + KCl 75 kg/ha, 4) Nitralite 0 kg/ha + NPK 300 kg/ha, 5) Nitralite 90 kg/ha + NPK 300 kg/ha, 6) Nitralite 180 kg/ha + NPK 300 kg/ha, 7 ) Nitralite 270 kg/ha + NPK 300 kg/ha, and 8) Nitralite 360 kg/ha + NPK 300 kg/ha. The data were analyzed by means of variance and Tukey's follow-up test. The results showed that Nitralite fertilizer was more effective for lowland rice when its use was combined with NPK fertilizer (15-15-15) at a dose of 180 kg Nitralite/ha + 300 kg NPK/ha which was able to produce 8.7 tons/ha GKP rice production. with an RAE value of 128% and an IBCR value of 3.47
