ANALYSIS OF INCOME AND ADDED VALUE OF THE ARABICA COFFEE AGROINDUSTRY

Abstract

ABSTRACT  Coffee is a type of plant that has high economic value. This plant is a plantation crop, this plant has been cultivated for a long time in Indonesia. One of the coffee processing industries in Tasikmalaya City is Minotaur Roastery. This research was carried out with the aim of finding out: 1. To find out the amount of income obtained from processing coffee beans into coffee powder at UKM Minotaur Roastery in Tasikmalaya City. 2. To find out the amount of added value obtained from processing coffee beans into coffee powder at UKM Minotaur Roastery in Tasikmalaya City. The type of research used in this research is a case study. Data collection techniques through interviews using tools in the form of questionnaires. The data collected includes primary and secondary data. The sampling technique was carried out using the purposive sampling method. The research results show that: 1). The total production cost of processing coffee beans at UKM Minatour Roastery in one processing process is Rp. 5,879.072 with receipts of IDR 13.300,000, and profits of IDR. 7.420.9282). Processing coffee beans has a positive added value, namely IDR 153.889, per kilogram. Keywords: Agroindustry, Income, Added Value,Coffe
