Infrastruktur dan Pengeluaran Bidang Kesehatan Terhadap Kualitas Hidup di Indonesia

Abstract

Angka Harapan Hidup (AHH) merupakan salah satu indikator yang menunjukkan kualitas hidup manusia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis peran infrastruktur kesehatan dan pengeluaran pemerintah bidang kesehatan terhadap angka harapan hidup. Infrastruktur kesehatan terdiri dari jumlah dokter umum, puskesmas dan rumah sakit provinsi di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Generalized Least Square (GLS) dan analisis kuadran. Ruang lingkup penelitian mencakup 21 provinsi di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan analisis kuadran, provinsi di Indonesia berada di kuadran I dan II dari hubungan angka harapan hidup dengan dokter umum, puskesmas, rumah sakit dan pengeluaran pemerintah bidang kesehatan. Sementara itu, hasil regresi panel data GLS menunjukkan bahwa infrastruktur kesehatan (jumlah dokter umum, puskesmas dan rumah sakit) dan pengeluaran pemerintah bidang kesehatan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap angka harapan hidup, sedangkan pendapatan perkapita dan persentase penduduk miskin sebagai variabel kontrol berpengaruh signifikan terhadap angka harapan hidup.
