DEMOKRASI BERWARNA: SEMIOTIKA WARNA, IDEOLOGI, DAN POLITIK REPRESENTASI DALAM POSTER 17+8 TUNTUTAN RAKYAT INDONESIA

Abstract

Poster “17+8 Tuntutan Rakyat Indonesia” berfungsi lebih dari sekadar daftar tuntutan politik; ini adalah strategi visual yang membangun ideologi perlawanan melalui warna. Mengambil inspirasi dari semiotika Saussure, mitologi visual Barthes, dan psikologi warna modern, poster ini menggunakan hijau dan merah muda sebagai sistem tanda untuk membentuk makna politik. Hijau melambangkan legitimasi organik perjuangan rakyat, membangkitkan tema ekologi, keberlanjutan, dan materialitas kehidupan. Ia mencerminkan hubungan moral antara manusia dan alam, memposisikan perlawanan sebagai keharusan alami dan etis. Sementara itu, merah muda digunakan kembali untuk menegaskan peran perempuan dalam ranah politik yang secara historis didominasi oleh citra maskulin. Jauh dari pasif, merah muda di sini menjadi simbol feminitas yang aktif dan terorganisir. Bersama-sama, hijau dan merah muda membentuk bahasa visual komposit yang melampaui makna individualnya, mewakili demokrasi inklusif dan solidaritas interseksional. Pasangan warna ini menantang fragmentasi dalam gerakan progresif, menawarkan wacana visual yang terpadu. Dengan demikian, poster menjadi alat bukan hanya untuk komunikasi tetapi juga untuk mobilisasi di mana warna digunakan sebagai kekuatan diskursif untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran kolektif, memperkuat persatuan, dan memperluas keterlibatan politik. Melalui lensa ini, poster adalah artefak sekaligus intervensi, menggunakan desain visual untuk mengartikulasikan dan memperkuat perlawanan.
