Potensi Penerapan Q-Methodology dalam Mengeksplorasi Subjektivitas Pelaku Pertanian dan Agribisnis di Indonesia

Abstract


Pemahaman terhadap kompleksitas perilaku dan pengambilan keputusan pelaku pertanian sering kali disederhanakan oleh pendekatan kuantitatif konvensional dalam perumusan kebijakan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji potensi penerapan Q-methodology dalam mengeksplorasi subjektivitas dan pandangan pemangku kepentingan di sektor pertanian dan agribisnis, khususnya di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-eksploratif melalui tinjauan literatur naratif dan kajian metodologis terhadap literatur dari sepuluh tahun terakhir. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Q-methodology mampu menggabungkan kekuatan eksplorasi kualitatif dan ketepatan analisis kuantitatif untuk mengidentifikasi pola pandangan yang beragam secara sistematis. Metode ini telah terbukti efektif ketika diaplikasikan pada ragam isu kritis, meliputi adopsi inovasi, adaptasi perubahan iklim, evaluasi insentif ekologis, hingga resolusi konflik. Meskipun penerapannya di wilayah pedesaan menghadapi tantangan terkait literasi dan partisipasi kelompok rentan , penyesuaian instrumen melalui media visual dan pendampingan intensif terbukti mampu mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Disimpulkan bahwa Q-methodology merupakan alternatif desain riset yang sangat relevan dan menjanjikan untuk memfasilitasi pendekatan pembangunan pertanian yang lebih berpusat pada kebutuhan aktual masyarakat.Kata kunci: Q-methodology, subjektivitas, tipologi pandangan, pertanian, agribisnis
