STUDI KEANEKARAGAMAN GASTROPODA AKUATIK DI PERAIRAN WISATA GOA CILALAY KECAMATAN CIGUGUR KABUPATEN PANGANDARAN

Data standar mengenai keanekaragaman gastropoda air tawar di Kabupaten Pangandaran hingga saat ini belum tersedia. Sebagian besar penelitian berfokus pada keanekaragaman gastropoda air laut dan payau, sehingga studi tentang keanekaragaman air tawar sangat penting dilakukan. Informasi ilmiah terkait indeks ekologi biota ini dapat memberikan referensi dalam sistem pengelolaannya serta lebih jauh lagi sebagai indikator lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis gastropoda akuatik, kualitas lingkungan berdasarkan parameter fisika – kimia perairan, dan struktur komunitas gastropoda akuatik di perairan Wisata Goa Cilalay Kecamatan Cigugur Kabupaten Pangandaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif, metode observasi eksploratif dan teknik pengambilan sampel dengan transect walk mengikuti pola garis sungai. Pengambilan keong di 3 stasiun pengamatan menggunakan plot berdiameter 30 cm, setiap stasiun 8 plot dengan pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Terdapat 2 famili dari kelas gastropoda yang teramati yaitu Famili Pachychilidae yaitu Sulcospira kawaluensis, Sulcospira testudinaria dan Famili Bucinnidae, yaitu Anentome helena. Kualitas perairan Wisata Goa Cilalay termasuk dibawah ambang batas berdasarkan baku mutu air Sungai PP No. 22 Tahun 2021, menunjukan bahwa Perairan Wisata Goa Cilalay sangat baik. Kepadatan populasi pada Sulcospira kawaluensis berkisar 19 – 252 Idn/m2, Sulcospira testudinaria berkisar 8 – 37 Idn/m2, dan Anentome helena berkisar 0 – 8 Idn/m2. Indeks keanekaragaman semua stasiun kategori rendah. Indeks keseragaman kategori tinggi di Stasiun II, Stasiun I, dan Stasiun III kategori rendah. Indeks dominansi tertinggi di Stasiun I dan terendah Stasiun II.
