Analisis Life Cycle Assessment Sampah Rumah Tangga Untuk Mendukung Potensi Penerapan Ekonomi Sirkular Agribisnis di Kabupaten Bungo

Abstract


Peningkatan timbulan sampah rumah tangga menjadi salah satu tantangan lingkungan yang semakin nyata, terutama di daerah yang sistem pengelolaannya masih didominasi oleh pola linear berupa pengumpulan, pengangkutan, dan pembuangan akhir di tempat pemrosesan akhir (TPA). Kondisi tersebut juga terjadi di Kabupaten Bungo, di mana sebagian besar sampah masih berakhir di TPA sehingga berpotensi menimbulkan emisi gas rumah kaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dampak lingkungan dari sistem pengelolaan sampah rumah tangga sekaligus mengkaji potensi pemanfaatannya dalam mendukung penerapan ekonomi sirkular pada sektor agribisnis. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif dengan metode Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) yang membandingkan dua skenario, yaitu sistem pengelolaan eksisting dan skenario ekonomi sirkular. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa total emisi pada sistem eksisting mencapai 844,7 kg CO₂-eq per ton sampah, sedangkan pada skenario ekonomi sirkular sebesar 452,5 kg CO₂-eq per ton, sehingga terjadi penurunan emisi sebesar 46,4%. Penurunan ini terutama dipengaruhi oleh pengolahan sampah organik menjadi kompos serta pemanfaatan material daur ulang yang mampu mengurangi residu ke TPA. Dari timbulan sekitar 69 ton sampah per hari, tersedia sekitar 44 ton bahan organik yang secara teoritis dapat menghasilkan ±17 ton kompos per hari dengan nilai ekonomi sekitar Rp51–85 juta per hari. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa pengelolaan sampah berbasis ekonomi sirkular tidak hanya menekan dampak lingkungan, tetapi juga membuka peluang pemanfaatan kompos sebagai input dalam sistem agribisnis.
