PENGETAHUAN FIKIH MUAMALAH KONTEMPORER TENTANG PEMANFAATAN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE SEBAGAI BASIS KESADARAN HUKUM SISWA MADRASAH ALIYAH

This study is motivated by the increasing use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) among Madrasah Aliyah students, which has not been fully balanced with an adequate understanding of contemporary fiqh muamalah and legal awareness in its utilization. The use of AI in academic activities has the potential to create ethical and legal issues, such as plagiarism, academic dishonesty, and technological dependency if not accompanied by proper moral values and responsibility. This study aims to analyze the level of students’ knowledge of contemporary fiqh muamalah regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence and to formulate a model for improving students’ legal awareness based on contemporary fiqh in the use of AI for literacy activities. The research employed a normative juridical method using statutory, conceptual, and contemporary fiqh muamalah approaches, supported by empirical data collected through questionnaires and limited interviews. The research was conducted at MAN 3 Central Jakarta involving 50 students, interviews with five students, and the school principal. The findings indicate that students’ level of knowledge regarding the use of Artificial Intelligence from the perspective of contemporary fiqh is categorized as moderate to good; however, limitations remain in students’ understanding of digital ethics, academic integrity, and legal responsibility in the use of AI. This study formulates a model for enhancing students’ legal awareness based on contemporary fiqh through the integration of digital literacy, ethical education, habituation of wise and limited AI use, and the strengthening of values such as honesty, trustworthiness, justice, and public benefit within the learning process. The model is expected to foster students who are critical, ethical, and responsible in utilizing Artificial Intelligence within educational environments.
